We're all looking for new ways of doing things right now and with the current pandemic creating so many virtual experiences, you may have started to think about doing therapy virtually as well. In addition, sometimes life just gets hectic, traffic in Austin gets crazy, kids get sick, and you need to get flexible in how you manage appointments. I understand this and offer teletherapy (video) sessions to help accommodate your situation. Research has shown similar rates of treatment success using teletherapy services as seen from in-person sessions. If you feel getting to the office is a barrier to accessing counseling, this may be a perfect solution for you!
I am currently only scheduling virtual sessions and have found the majority of my clients have made this transition seamlessly. Some even prefer it!
